The Virtual Aether project. Together with several programmers, we are working now (2006) on a computerized virtual medium which can show any wave phenomenon such as diffraction and the Airy disk. The programs are in French, though: http://www.glafreniere.com/dossiers/freebasic.zip Believe me, it is amazing ! The source code is free and can be copied, modified or distributed without permission. So you can freely translate it and change some disturbing details in order to compile many very fascinating English programs. You may also add your name, for example like this : This program was translated and improved by John Smith, City, State and/or Country.
