THE  THEORY  OF  RELATIVITY

LORENTZ  WAS  RIGHT

Michelson's interferometer did contract itself in the direction of its motion, because matter is made out of standing waves. As a matter of fact, standing waves undergo the Lorentz transformation, and this leads to Relativity.

Lorentz' Relativity, which admits an absolute point of view.

Nevertheless it admits a relative point of view too, which is very close to Einstein's.

Let's repeat it : Lorentz was right.

Unfortunately, nobody believed him.

The Lorentzian Relativity.

So this "new" Relativity is now 100 years old, and yet it is not well known. The Internet may change this because ideas can now evolve much more rapidly. Many authors are aware of it, but for some reasons they use it to explain some very unusual phenomena. Many of them even continue to think that aether does not exist, proving that Einstein's influence is still devastating.

The real new point is this : matter is purely made out of standing waves.

This explanation will make things much more simple. We now can show that the Lorentz transformation really occurs, because standing waves behave exactly the way Lorentz predicted.

The Michelson interferometer.

Around 1887 Michelson used his interferometer in order to detect the absolute speed of the Earth through the aether.

But it did not reveal anything. George F. FitzGerald, Joseph Larmor and Hendrick A. Lorentz thought that it might contract itself at high speed. Lorentz even showed that this would make the clocks run slower, and that this would produce a time shift and a mass increase. The correct value was given by Henri Poincaré in 1904.

This is the Lorentz Transformation.

The Lorentz Transformation.

So the Lorentz-Poincaré transformation works as follows :

  1. The distances are contracted along the displacement axis x.

  2. All is evolving slower. The waves frequency and the clocks are slowing down.

  3. This produces a time shift along the displacement axis.

  4. The matter mass increases.

Lorentz's first law.

As a whole, the space and time transformation involving matter was Lorentz's idea. However he was preceded or helped by three well known discoverers: Woldemar Voigt, George Francis FitzGerald and Henri Poincaré.

The Lorentz transformation was never accepted by scientists as a true fact. But today it must be recognized as a law of nature:

Matter contracts on its displacement axis in the same manner as the standing waves which it is made of, because of the Doppler effect and in accordance with its absolute speed through aether, this contraction producing a time shift, an increase in its mass and a reduction in its evolution speed.

Lorentz's first law.

LORENTZ'S  RELATIVITY

Albert Einstein founded his famous theory or Relativity on two main postulates:

1 - "The speed of light is the same in all inertial frames of reference".

This proves to be totally false.

2 - "The same laws of electrodynamics and optics will be valid for all frames of reference for which the equations of mechanics hold good".

This is fully true, albeit this postulate was first worded by Henri Poincaré, not by Einstein. This is a well known fact. At the St-Louis (USA) exhibition in 1904, Poincaré said :

". . . the principle of relativity, according to which the laws of physical phenomena should be the same, whether for an observer fixed, or for an observer carried along in a uniform movement of translation, so that we have not or could not have any means of discerning whether or not we are carried along in such a motion."

Finally, the only true Relativity is simply the consequence of the Lorentz transformation. Poincaré said that we had no means of discerning whether we are moving or not. This means that we can always postulate that we are at rest.

This the law of Relativity:

From its point of view, any material body seems at rest, and other entities only act, react and seem affected by the Lorentz transformation according to their apparent speed.

The law of Relativity of appearances.
