Introduction

A down to earth physicst living in the USA who published in the mid 1980's an incredible workable and rigourous mathematical proof that all of this that we see around us is just waves in aether (or Space), an amazing non-material rigid elastic medium underlying the phenomenal universe.

Milo's primary thesis is that all of this (the phenomenal Cosmos) is the result of spherical longitudinal waves travelling through the aether. If you think of a collapsing spherical wave, when it gets to it's very centre, it gains energy since it is occupying a smaller and smaller region and eventually it 'rebounds' outwards again with no losses, and the now outward moving spherical wavefront interferes with the incoming spherical wavefront to construct a logarithmically reducing set of standing waves which is the electron (or positron depending on the phase of the wavefront at the very centre of the 'apparent' particle) thus formed.

Milo proves this model fits all of the known Quantum Mechanics laws and rules and even answers many unanswered questions of Quantum Science.

Milo is one of the world's greatest scientists. Unfortunately this is not known generally yet, but it will be in ages to come.

Some background

In recent years a new description of particles has appeared in which it is seen that matter is a spherical wave resonance in space. This is termed the Wave Structure of Matter (WSM). The remarkable result is that it can be shown that the WSM is the origin of ALL the natural laws.

The WSM is a description of Nature proposed 150 years ago by William Clifford (1870) at Cambridge U. He was ignored but in hindsight he predicted GTR and QM. Also, 75 years ago by Erwin Schroedinger (Moore 1989). They stated that wave structures in space were the true matter and our perception of laws and matter was an 'appearance (schaumkommen)' of waves. Both Einstein (1950) and Dirac (1933) suggested 60 years ago that matter could not be 'discrete particles' and must be extended spherical entities.

Recently, the WSM has been worked out mathematically (Wolff 1991-2002) beginning with a scalar (quantum) wave equation of space = Principle I. The only solutions are spherical in-ward and out-ward waves converging to a wave center. Added to that is Principle II a math version of Mach's Principle (1883) that the law of inertia depends on the existence of the fixed stars. Only these two principles are required to prove the origin of the Natural laws from the WSM.

What does this mean?

It means that:

  1. an origin has been found for the laws: F=ma, cons. of energy, cons. of momentum, general relativity, special relativity, Schroedinger's Equation, E&M, the law of charge repulsion/attraction, etc.; All of the laws must be true other wise everything collapses. These laws are the basis of all physics.
  2. There are no discrete particles in Nature, we observe only wave structures that 'appear like particles' from a human scale view.
  3. The spin of an electron/positron/proton is not a mechanical top or vortice. Instead it is totally a quantum effect whose origin was unexplained until the WSM.
  4. Applications have already been found and funded in nano-physics, especially microchips and semiconductors (see Carver Mead below).

The Wave Structure of Matter and the Natural Laws was a goal of philosophers for thousand of years. Philosophers, Leibnitz, Kant, and Greeks argued that ONE THING must be the origin of all laws; In hindsight – this is the 'space medium'. However Einstein's General Relativity also describes it, because it too must be included in the WSM and similarly uses only the two Principles I and II. However, since GTR is astronomical in scale it has no quantum phenomenon. Einstein just stated the facts. Smart guy.

What is the space medium? Logically one can only describe a thing by giving its properties. In the case of the space wave medium of the WSM, its properties are Principle I and Principle II. No more. Anything more would be illogical except perhaps to say that it pervades the whole Universe. Thus, all observed phenomena (Natural Laws) derive from these two Principles and are found in the whole Universe.

Everyone has evidence of the space medium: Think of how a laser-gyro works. it rotates in the medium. Every large aircraft now has three laser-gyros on board for auto-navigation. They do work. There is a 'space medium confirming Mach's Principle and Principle II.
